I had just driven my wife to work and had a son not feeling too good in the backseat, so I decided to take another route home. Whenever there is fog in my area, I know this lake has a nice mist. And fortunately I was right. I took two quick shots ten metres from the car and drove back home.

Lovely. Nothing more to say.
Thank you, Vibeke. My plan was to get some pictures of some open fields about an hour drive away, where I know of a solitary tree that should give some good photo opportunities. But with my son sick in the backseat this was no longer an option.
Gorgeous.
I’m glad you liked it, Marius.
Incredibly beautiful Yngve! The atmosphere, the reflections, the subdued background, impressed!

Utrulig flott Yngve! Stemningen, refleksjonene, den duse bakgrunnen, imponert!
Thank you, Stine. I had high expectations for myself this week, but (as always?) the week went by without much time to spend any serious photography. My car was parked for less than a minute taking this image, so I’m glad it turned out okay. But I still wish I had more time to explore the location. Or time enough to take the drive to the location I wanted to shoot, about an hour away.
Beautiful beautiful, Yngve. Beautiful contrast between the sharp, but still gray pier and the soft mist background dressed in autumn plumage. Also love the composition and lines in the image. Good with air around the subject contributes to the richness and depth. A lovely autumn image.

Original comment (Norwegian):
Nydelig vakkert, Yngve.
I wish I could tell you how I planned for this image, Ståle. How I had found this spot weeks before, and just waited for the perfect moment to capture it. But as you can see from my comment to Stine this is not true. Thank you for such kind words.
