On December 26, 2004, I was up early looking at the news on my computer. Like so many others I couldn’t believe what I was reading. Casualties to many too count, at least not grasp, left me sitting silent for a long time.

A few years later I was on my first visit to Phuket, Thailand, where I could see the effect the tsunami had for myself. This boat was washed up from the shore, left almost a hundred metres from the beach with trees surrounding it. The boat has not been removed, as it proves a remember of the forces of nature.
